the Internet/WIFI?

The access information fort he WIFI is:

Please note the Internet Terms of Use. The stability of the WIFI in the dorm can be severely impaired by overload or interference signals (e.g. use of private routers or access points). The operation of such devices also violates the Internet Terms of Use.

In the event of a disruption, we reserve the right to pass on the costs for the repair.

the waste disposal?

Here is some information to make it easier for you to separate your waste:

Please always make small pieces of the garbage. Please crush plastic bottles, please tear up cardboard boxes for paper waste.

Glass and cans must be disposed in Matthias-Schmid Straße 10 at the public collection point. Only from Monday till Saturday and not on public holidays!

the communal kitchen?

The same applies here: we’re in this together:

• Please put the food leftovers from the sink into the organic waste and do not flush any leftover food or oil down, otherwise the pipes will become clogged and the sinks can no longer be used!

• Put your things away in your kitchen cupboards immediately and leave the kitchen clean so that others can use the kitchen too! The baking trays and grill rack should also be cleaned after use and then returned to the oven.

• Please wipe the ceramic hob after cooking!

• Make a garbage disposal list for the kitchen. The rubbish should under no circumstances overflow or end up next to the rubbish bins!

• We always separate our garbage: There are containers for residual waste, paper and plastic in the courtyard.

• Glass and can waste must be collected separately and disposed of at the public collection point in front of Matthias-Schmid Straße 10 – please clean glasses and can waste, otherwise there will be lots of flies!

• Smoking is prohibited throughout the house!

Leave the common areas clean and please keep quiet at night. Keep the windows closed between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. if you are listening to music or there are several people talking.

cleaning including cleaning service?

Your room will not be cleaned by our staff but only the communal areas of the flat will be cleaned once every 3 weeks. So you have to keep your room and also the common areas in order and clean them regularly. If the common areas or your room are very dirty (this is regularly checked by the dorm management after prior notice!), then a special cleaning will be organized, which will be invoiced to the respective resident.

You must also regularly clean your own shower drain sifter yourself.

Brief information: If your unit is not properly cleaned by the cleaning ladies or is not cleaned at all, we ask you to contact your dorm manager. Please note that this notification must be made immediately (i.e. on the day of the actual planned cleaning). If we do not receive a message to the contrary from you, we will assume that the cleaning has been carried out properly and flawlessly.

reporting damage?

If something gets broken, please submit a damage report via our homepage:
www.home4students.at/en/login

You received the access data for your private area on our website immediately after you registered with us. After logging in, select your contract under “Contracts” and click on the links below on “Damage report”. Then all you have to do is to fill out the form online and send it. The dorm manager or a technician will take care of it soon.

the washing machines?

The washing machines and dryers are in the basement of Erzherzog Eugen Straße 39.

Doing the laundry has to be paid through the WeWash Website. Here is the instruction on WeWash.

public transport?

The „VVT SmartRide App“  is a routing app in Tyrol and also for the rest of Austria to find your way on public transport but also by car, by bike and on foot or also combinations of it. Furthermore, it shows real-time connections (also delays), ticket prices and various traffic routes.

In addition, the app shows also Park+Ride facilities, bike+ride services, parking spaces, service areas and kiss+ride parking throughout Austria.
Just download it in the Google Play Store or on iTunes and start your journey.

You can also find the „VVT Tickets App“ on Google Play Store/iTunes to buy your ticket in advance and to have it on your phone.

storing your bicycles/skis and snowboards?

Bicycles may be parked in the courtyard or in the respective basement compartment (please contact your dorm manager for this). It is not permitted to take them into the room!

Skis and snowboards may only be stored in the respective basement compartment. It is also not permitted to take them with you into the room!
